After a grueling week and hot temperatures at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics with several athletes contracting the COVID-19 virus, Team USA has done well on becoming the leader in Olympic medals with 62 medals by Monday (Japan time) followed by China in second place with 60 medals and Russia in third place with 52 medals. Many Team USA athletes have done exceptionally well in the different categories. As expected, 206 countries are participating in this year’s Olympics!

As of Monday (Japan time), Team USA has secured 22 Gold medals, 25 Silver medals, and 17 Bronze medals. The men’s and women’s swimming teams have done very well as have women’s gymnastics. With another six days of events, Team USA is expected to do very well at this year’s Olympics! Visit
